Bloomin'!

Meet the newest member of our blogging team...Miss Mabel!

Spring has arrived on Discovery Lane, FINALLY!

We're happy to report our pansies survived the chilly start to the season.

This week, our landscaping guy came out to see how our perennials, shrubs and trees survived the LONG/SNOWY winter AND those pesky rabbits.
We had a couple items replaced and this is one of the newest additions to our landscape.
Orange Blanket Flower. We're big fans of it!

Josh's dogwood shrubs are starting to bloom!

Our French Sensation lilacs are gorgeous and very fragrant!

Our ornamental onions are just about ready to bloom.
We learned the green portion of the plants are chives.

No wonder they smell so onion-y when Josh clips them with the lawn mower! ;)

Our Karl Forester Grasses are growing like weeds!
Freddy the frog is lovin' them!
And we've saved the best for last...drum roll please...

Move over Augusta National...we have an azalea bloom on Discovery Lane!
Take that pesky rabbits!
Yes, Josh is in heaven!
